Hi!! I'm so excited to share the job posting for the Wardrobe Supervisor role at Lookingglass for our 25/26 season. We have two really cool new works coming out. The first one is a ghost story with some puppet elements, maybe some tails, and animal type elements. The second show in our season may include some wet blood. I really can't say much more. Below are dates, pay, and how to apply. We will have more postions open up and are accepting on a rolling basis.

White Rooster 

           Anticipated Start Date: Tuesday February 3^rd 2026 

               First Rehearsal: Tuesday February 3, 2026 

               First Tech: Tuesday February 24, 2026 

               First Preview: Thursday March 5, 2026 

               Press Opening: Saturday March 14, 2026 

               Closing: Sunday April 26, 2026 

Untitled Vampire Play 

               First Rehearsal: Tuesday May 5, 2026 

               First Tech: Tuesday May 26, 2026 

               First Preview: Thursday June 4, 2026 

               Press Opening: Saturday June 13, 2026 

               Closing: Sunday July 26, 2026 

Compensation 

This position is paid $25.50/hour with a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1010 during the run of the show, based on an anticipated 35-40 hours of work per week. The Wardrobe Supervisor will be paid hourly without the guaranteed weekly minimum for prep work prior to tech.  

We anticipate overtime will be necessary for this position during the production process, primarily during the tech/preview period.

Benefits 

Chicago Paid Sick Leave ordinance: Any employee who works at least 80 hours for an employer in Chicago within any 120-day period is covered by the ordinance and eligible. For every 40 hours worked, employee will accrue one (1) hour of paid sick leave.
